IN-HOUSE TRAINING – MODELLING
Many people using spreadsheets have not had any formal training in spreadsheet design, use or auditing. This can lead to a lack of consistency, transparency and poor use of time.

We deliver spreadsheet training and model development for all levels of users in the real estate industry. Having worked at practitioner level gives us the ability to put spreadsheets into a more practical context, in contrast to those who specialise in spreadsheets but have never worked in practice.

Our roles are varied and can range from helping with useful functions and features of Excel, up to and including building and testing a financial or analysis model. We are able to work on several versions of Excel, with experience in 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010 and also 2011 (for Mac).

Some of the most recent work that we have undertaken for spreadsheet modelling includes the creation of:

  • Real Estate investment analysis models (UK and Continental Europe)
  • Cash flow model contesting the IRRs & NPV’s for different types of finance
  • Option pricing models for break clauses and terminal values

IN-HOUSE TRAINING – EXCEL
We are renowned for our cash flow modelling skills and provision of independent analysis of corporate models. We have been using spreadsheets for over 20 years and started teaching “the use of spreadsheets in real estate” over 18 years ago. We are proud to be seen as the market leader. We have worked on more general models as well as building and testing large and complex systems.

The application of Excel™ workbooks is an integral part of i-analysis training activities, which places real estate into an investment; finance; corporate context. Due to high demand we now offer stand-alone Excel training workshops which are specific to real estate applications.

These Excel training workshops include both the standard Excel functionality and the application of relevant Excel Add-Ins which simplify and speed up the process, helping you to save time and money.

The Excel workshops are structured to build on each other and to provide course participants with a set of skills and competencies, which compliment their real estate analysis, appraisal and valuation expertise.

CONSULTANCY
Our consultancy activities began as a spin-off from the company’s research activities. i-analysis training hires professionals from different fields and professional backgrounds to act as consultants to assist in consultancy work when necessary.

Our main areas of consultancy are in the field of training and spreadsheet modelling. We are able to draw on a number of reputable consultants in order to pool the relevant expertise.
